This site was first initiated and implemented late in 1996 as the "Architect Information Center Worldwide" (www.aicw.com) and has been developed, enhanced and improved since this time with the help and support of the glass industry and re-launched in its current format as an invaluable research aid to architects, designers, specifiers, builders and any other persons whom can benefit from utilising the most up to date and correct information relating to the glass industry and its products.

The aim of this site is to clarify and aid people involved in specifying and designing glass and aluminium facades, windows and shopfronts to a point where you can rely on information here as the most current and correct available. We will be adding, modifying and deleting information and making changes as soon as they are available or implemented by our industry so that the information here stays totally correct and up to date.

The industry should also benefit from the ease of launching, updating or adding a product or service, unlike conventional print media that quickly becomes dated and requires reformatting and reprinting. This is not only costly, but difficult to track and replace clients "out of date" product folders or brochures.
